Prepared a preliminary and complete basic design for the NSMV, a multi-mission 700-passenger training vessel for the Maritime Administration (2015-2016), and provided technical design and construction support for the Jones Act construction at Philly Shipyard, Inc. (2017-2025)
- NSMV Technical Support to MARAD: HEC provided technical support to the Maritime Administration (MARAD) as they continued the MARAD NSMV Training Ship Construction of five new ships. Building on our previous work, we helped guide the project by offering expertise in design, bidding, shipyard specifications, and oversight throughout construction.
