Conversion: Aloha L Class Plan Review

HEC assisted Matson with the entire ship acquisition process for a series of new 3600 TEU Jones-Act Dual Fuel LNG/Conventional Containerships. This included helping the owner develop their bidding specifications, evaluating the proposed designs from the bidding shipyards, reviewing and revising the final contract building specification, guiding the owner through the plan review process by providing significant manpower and engineering expertise (including attendance at model testing).

We will provide engineering support throughout the vessel’s construction and attending sea trials on behalf of the owner. (2022-2027)
