Engineering: Drydocking Support in China

HEC provided shipyard supervisors to Dorian LPG to support fleet-wide drydock and ship repairs carried out in China since 2019. Normally one Chinese national inspector was provided but on some complex projects, two inspectors were provided. Inspectors were fluent in English and were able to acts as liaisons between the Dorian superintendents and the Chinese shipyards and the many service engineers who attended onboard. They were able to find specialized parts and contractors in China to assist with the repairs. (2019-2020) Photo: LPG Carrier CHEYENNE in drydock.
